I am very easy-going,relaxed and open minded. I do not ask for much and am satisfied with the simple things in life(but that doesn't mean I would say 'no' to something a bit 'less simple')
My friends and relations say that I have a very good and quick sense of humour and make them laugh.I like to help people in any way I can but only if they help themselves first. I enjoy an outdoor life and like to be with nature - walking in the mountains,countryside or on the beach.I like picnics and BBQ's.I enjoy music,cinema,theatre,opera, history,books, watching films and sport on TV. I like to spend money but not waste it. I enjoy travelling to other countries and was lucky that for 10 years my job took me all over the world - for free! Now that I'm retired I want to travel for pleasure but not alone - I wish to have a lovely lady with me so we can see the world together.
I am an "English gentleman" (yes they still do exist but getting fewer) who knows how to treat a lady with politeness, tenderness,understanding and care.

I need a woman to love and be loved by.She should be good in the home,kitchen,garden and bedroom :-) She should try to understand a man's needs and desires and not want to supress or control him. Good communication is essential in any relationship. Being open minded and having a good sense of humour is also very important. Her interests should be similar to mine but I would also expect her to have the usual female interests of home- keeping, cooking, sewing, kitting, etc.etc.and have her own interests and friends (ladies only I hope!)
